Bernie Timms moved to Hilton Head Island in the summer of 1998 from the London area of England, where he worked as a manager in both production and quality assuarance at a manufacturing facility. Having been involved in manufacturing for 22 years, Bernie took a new direction in life and on February 14th 1999, Bernie married Julie Toon Pawley. he subsequently obtained his real estate license, earned the ABR -Accredited Buyers Representative designation in 2000 and the e-PRO - The National Association of Realtor's newest designation for Internet Professionals in 2002. Bernie soon realized that having a top notch real estate education was key to providing a professional service. Towards this end Bernie studied for his Real Estate Brokers' exam and received his Brokers license in 2003 and is now actively pursuing his GRI- Graduate Realtor Institute designation.
Bernie is an active member of the Hilton Head Area Association of Realtor's currently serving as Chairman on the Technology Committee and past chairman of the Grievance Committee.
On a daily basis, Bernie handles all the in-house systems and technology along with the company's web-sites. Bernie's extensive knowledge of computers and the Internet ensures our customers and clients receive outstanding services from dynamic customized websites for individual listings to carefully crafted and detailed virtual tours.
